Apollo Photographic Support Data To help utilize the images found in this archive, an array of photographic support documents related to the Apollo missions have been compiled. Various grey literature descriptions/catalogs of the Apollo Image collections were compiled and published as NSSDC and MSC documents. This literature represents the best resource for understanding the image datasets. To make these documents widely accessible we have scanned them as 200 dpi pdf files. These catalogs do not allow for actually browsing the images but rather provide supporting information. The Pacific Regional Planetary Data Center (PRPDC) at the University of Hawaii provided many of the original documents for scanning. Low resolution scans of panoramic, metric, and 70-mm frames are available from the LPI. For detailed information on the cameras used during Apollo see Apollo Over the Moon: A View From Orbit. An additional excellent resource for Apollo information is the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal.
